Oh, and I suppose you’re going to tell me next that Bobby Knight didn’t leave peacefully after throwing that chair either huh?
It wasn't peaceful. He abused his power and supported violent attempts to thwart democracy in order to stay.
Gore presided over an election he sorta lost. I assume he was prepared to do it too if he won. Of course the Repugs would flip out but the Gore example makes it pretty clear that since they are just presiding over the process and it’s Congress that votes after the states send their electors, it’s perfectly acceptable for the VP who just won or loss the election to serve in their role.
I see what you guys did there. Take the attention away from the POS fake ass president with cow dung for brains and pivot towardsTrump. It ain’t working, everyone who has even an ounce of sense knows that Biden is the nightmare that you will have to endure until you cannot take it anymore and like a lot of folks, you rise up, resist and fight back against this b*stard. Let’s go Brandon!
Politicians aren't going to jail for corruption anymore. It's interesting how the party strongly principled in Rule of Law has pivoted violently This is what plays afterwards, outright power grab among the top.
2020 wasn't even close. 306 to 232. Not a Reagan landslide, but comfortable. Bigger than Trump's victory in 2016, and that of 12 other presidencies. There was violence in 2020, so I guess we should expect more, but there's no legitimate space for doubt with a margin that big. The irony of sharing a meme on social media condemning the sharing of memes on social media is not lost on me. I'm not suffering under Biden as badly as you apparently are. But it doesn't really matter. I doubt there is anything he can do to make me actually want Trump back.
Yeah, you'd think between fomenting a riot and trying to pressure officials into "finding" votes (god knows what else went on) people wouldn't be trying to spin this "peaceful transfer of power" nonsense.
I stated this in the other thread but if Republicans continue to play up that the last election was "stolen" that will energize the Democratic base. Abbott ,TX legislature, and USSC also helped by actually putting the fear into many that abortion could actually be outlawed. I was listening to Terry McAuliffe the other day and he's all in tarring his Republican opponent as wanting to outlaw abortion with a TX style law. Barring getting Democrats to get out to vote Trump has been telling his supporters NOT to vote.
