I’m not a Green-hater, but you can call me a Green-skeptic. The kid’s got talent, but he comes across as girl-y… I don’t feel much dog in this kid. If you wanna shut me up, please post clips where he fights - screens, box-outs, etc… I haven’t seen much in that regard. From what I’ve seen I anticipate he’ll get beat-up quite a bit. How he answers that will determine a lot about his career… I’m a bit skeptical…
Raw on defense. He is gifted on offense, he can improve on off ball with experience and time. He is showing defensive effort and his passing is quite decent.
So much to look forward too… —>Porter, Green, Christopher, Garuba, & Sengun —> Tate, Brooks, Nwaba, Martin & Wood —> Augustin, Exum, Gordon, House, & Thies —> Bey & Lamb —> Wall So many levels of enjoyment.
For this one time I’m going to agree with you. I hope he can make the rotation sooner rather than later. I don’t think there would be any doubt he would make the team if Gordan got traded. I know we won’t know for awhile whether all 4 of our draft picks are going to pan out, but I am very optimistic that all 4 will have productive NBA careers.
I really appreciate the attitude, extremely commendable, but he will never be able to "lock it up" on defense without gaining MUCH more strength. If he were longer he might be able to improve just on effort, footwork and improved IQ/technique.
Silas is on wrong path. This team is too skinny overall to "play with FORCE". The focus should be offense>defense. Generating turnovers does not necessarily require force.
