Yea but if the camera stays on him for too long you get hypnotized by that lazy eye of his.

At least that's his best movie so far (his part in The Gentleman was meh). You could probably catch that lazy eye in other amazing features like Last Christmas, A Simple Favor, and Snake Eyes.

Casino Royale was really good, but not sure I'd rank it ahead of On Her Majesties Secret Service, Goldfinger or From Russia with Love.

As a kid, my favs were Goldfinger, Dr. No, From Russia With Love, and You Only Live Twice. I grew up loving all of the old Bond films. If you did also, try watching the movies you mentioned (in the order you mentioned), followed by Casino Royale. I think you'll find that, while the classics will make you feel nostalgic for the stories/characters and appreciative of their time periods, they simply are inferior to Casino Royale. In fact, only Goldfinger comes anywhere close.

I agree with the exception of From Russia With Love, which I think is just a fantastic movie. That to me was the best of Bond before Daniel Craig. My dad was a massive Bond fan, and that made me one. I'd go to work with him on the opening day so we could sneak away for the first showing at noon while I was growing up. At that age, it was Roger Moore, and while I enjoyed those movies, even then as a kid my dad made sure I knew that Connery was Bond. :)

My favorites of the Craig era are Casino Royale and Skyfall. I loved the depth and some sense of a backstory they gave the character. I loved Spectre because it was a like a love letter to Bond fans...particularly the fight scene on the train similar to From Russia With Love.

I enjoyed this last movie and found it to be a fitting end to the Craig era.

Finally got around to seeing this. Great movie and Daniel Craig went out at the top of his game.

I would have him as the second best James Bond after Sean Connery.

Wonder who they will have next, I agree with others Idris Elba is perfect for the role.
