I'm confused by all the backlash. I personally would prefer it be left to the person to get the vaccine. But, it's not completely unique for the government or companies to require vaccines. Schools and military require vaccines and some employers require vaccines when working in certain areas. An employer is well within their rights to "take away your livelihood" (that they gave you in the first place) for non compliance. companies do it all the time for much smaller things than this. This is the way the NBA and those cities want to operate. I think any person should consider culture when they select a company to work for.

Yes, it would be! Most especially because it would have impacts FAR beyond just his case.

Remind me again...what reason(s) is Kyrie not wanting to get vaccinated?

Just trying to get a clear answer will make your brain explode. This is the guy who insisted the earth was flat for years partially to troll people, but also partially because he wanted to do more research.

I'm just curious because of an article I read the other day from the NYT re: the recent change in vaccination data among African Americans. It went into great detail on how the Tuskeegee Study back in the 1970s (and other events like it) really made African Americans distrust the government. I can say I was ignorant to the specifics until that article.

If true then that's a pretty...flat answer. *insert David Caruso gif*

Tuskegee is relevant, but it's also relevant to the vast majority of NBA players, and they got vaxxed

Kyrie is the guy who demanded a trade out of Cleveland after winning a championship then immediately alienated his entire new team in Boston.

All true. I mean, if Kyrie cites the Tuskeegee event as a main reason why the logic in that "sounds better" than the whole "I had an allergic reaction to Tylenol, therefore I'm not getting vaccinated" angle Wiggins had.
