Lmao fitting the game ends with the ump calling a high and away strike when the top of the zone hasn't been called all night. This ump is ****ing garbage
Let's go easy on the sox fans... this is their world series.... Just disappointed it took incompetent manager, bullpen arms, and umpires who know the rules less than fans... Honestly, you're making your call it isn't interference because you read his mind and decided he didn't mean to run into the field where the throw was coming from... Was Ms. Cleo in the huddle with the umps????
Maton's been good this postseason, I won't take this slander. Off topic, but if that **** about blocking the throw being legal if the throw is towards home is true, I see that changing this winter ala the Utley slide and getting catchers to get off home plate. Speaking of which, Grandal blocked home plate earlier this series. With these umps, you think he isn't called for obstruction if Altuve's out?
Silver lining? Tom Hallion won’t be behind the plate for anymore games this series and hopefully gets zero further playoff series after this.
Oh well. I think we'll close them out tomorrow. Rodon is tough, but he isn't 100% healthy. Whoever's starting Game 4 (I presume Urquidy) needs to give us some length, at least 5 innings, ideally 6+. I do not want to see Yimi or Raley in that game. Best thing about Game 4: that showboat ump Tom Hallion won't be behind the plate.
I think the Astros should trip a baserunner and say it isn't interference because they didn't intend to trip them...
Thats what, 4-5 outs taken from the Stros and an extra 3-4 given to the white sox? Very hard to win when you're given 22 outs and the other team 31.
Not sure what's the dumbest part of this statement... what was said or who said it... Aroid: "Give LaRussa a lot of credit...."
