If Urquidy gets pulled early tomorrow, who is the long reliever? I’m questioning why there aren’t two long relievers on the roster.

21 pitches is not a long reliever. I’m fine if they had Grienke as a high leverage one or two inning guy, but then Yimi, Maton, or Raley should have been left off for Odorrizi.

Move Yimi on IL for being untalented, which will also render him ineligible for ALCS, which prevents Dusty from doing stupid things.

Well if your starters can’t go past 2 or 3 innings consistently, you probably aren’t going to win a lot of playoff series… but if that happens tomorrow, I presume they’d go back with the Raley-Maton-Stanek-Gravemann-Pressly train you’ve seen throughout the season in games where the pitcher didn’t go long.

Yes, Odorizzi vs. Yimi should be something Click adjusts to if they get to the next round.

I feel like our hitters are done. Prolly go down in order the rest of the way tonight.

I sure hope this series ends tomorrow. The Sox will have all the momentum because of today.

Yimi gave up the home run in the third. That was bad.

He pitched fine in the fourth. It’s not his fault the Sox got a broken bat single, a bunch of weak ground-ball hits and a bad non-interference call. Grienke gave up weak ground ball hits too.

From that standpoint, he was brought in mid-batter on a guy who was ahead in the count 2-0.

That, IMO, is the worst of all the decisions of Dusty today. The hitter was given an even bigger advantage in that situation than any other possible scenario… and it was all self-inflected.

Games like these make me question why I care so much about sports.

Astros just aren't trying. They've checked out since the 4th.

Tucker should have run THROUGH the 1st baseman..inside the base path since there is no actual base path!

Yeah, that was bad. Garcia (Luis) needed to be pulled, but you have to have someone ready in that situation. Garcia (Yimi) presumably needed some more time.

Not a great game from Dusty, but he didn’t lose this one. When this many things go against you, and every soft grounder is a hit, it’s not your night.
