    tear-a-Bull

    Voice is too soft.

Good tone for putting us to sleep.....not so good for a sporting event (except golf or tennis)

I thought he had a really solid debut.

Can't stand Ackerman. Wonder who thought it was a good idea for a guy with that voice to be the PBP guy for the next 30 years?

Hollins was pretty good in his debut, once he’s familiar with the team and culture he should work out fine.

The fact that he has no prior experience with the team makes me sad

I don’t understand why they don’t put Calvin Murphy back to call the game along side with Ackerman. Calvin and Bill were good back in the days.

I really like what I've heard of him so far. Improves substantially Bullard's an Drexler's comments.
    Good choice.

Honestly after a few games, I’m fairly convinced he will be a massive improvement. Much more focused on the game, less homer-ish, and solidly incorporates his playing career into his commentary.

I spoke with Calvin Murphy at the game today, asked if they asked him to be the color commentator and he said no. Then asked if he would have taken the job if asked, his response was - “f***no, I get paid the same for what I do now”
