Got a call from a guy at HP today with the storage devices division, said I was what they were looking for in an intern! We had a good lil conversation on the phone so hopefully I'll be hearing from them later this week about coming in for a sit down interview! Thanks again!
Anyone in Austin care to help a sister out??? I thought I had a Summer job lined up, but found out about a month ago that they didn't have enough money to pay me should I work there. I haven't had time to look for anything since then because of finals and my school job (ended last friday) and so now I'm pretty much screwed.
The best paying in-between job, in my opinion, has to be temp work. Granted, its filing and some no-brain jobs, but they pay $9-$14 an hour and you switch places every few weeks. Plus, you may get lucky and really impress the company enough to get hired full-time (we just hired one on this past week).
rocketman95.. no kidding .. working for the rockets would be pretty cool.. if i remember correctly that is where she works.. also did you ever figure out the format for texans email addresses... I just emailed someone but the email he had listed was @houstontexans.com and I thought we established in the thread they dont use that address.. maybe its an old email address..

I went ahead and emailed the person as houstontexans.com since that's what he had listed, but I think it might not have been updated in a few years so if I don't get a response I'll try nfl.houstontexans.com I suppose.. Yeah, I sure hope so. Virginia is hosting the regional, but technically they are ranked 23rd and we are 19 so I'm thinking we have a chance.
