    After SU won the Lacrosse Title, I figured I'd take a look...

    Badass! Syracuse won the title?!?! Heck yeah! WOO WOOO! I was elated when they beat Johns Hopkins in the semis, but I didn't get to see the final game thanks to the lack of ESPN at my parents house, and the 50th wedding anniversary of DT's grandparents.

    Yeah but Arkansas and OU have titles in only men's sports. At least UT has womens titles too! It's important to be well rounded. :p

    OSU is 4th with 44, but 31 of those are from men's wrestling

    Texas actually has more women's championships than men's (20 to 16)

    Since I'm lazy, is there a place to lookup individual championships? We were surprised to learn that Baylor just won their first ever team national championship. They've had a very successful track and field team before and we just figured they won at least one national championship there. I know they've had runners win those.

    What about individual gold medals? TSUSM has at least two, both in the 1996 Olympics. Charles Austin and some chick who ran for Jamaica, I believe.

    Dont remind me.. mens championship tennis match last year and lost.. mens and womens sweet 16 in basketball this year, final 4 in womens tennis, final 8 in mens tennis.. highly ranked golf teams for both men and women.. final 4 in womens lacroose. about to start baseball tournament...


    one day.. one day. we are getting closer at least.
