SACRAMENTO, Calif. - Yao Ming and the Chinese national team will play an exhibition game in Fort Worth against the Mavericks' summer league team. TCU's Daniel-Meyer Coliseum will serve as the site, and the tentative date is July 1.

Mavs assistant Del Harris is coaching the Chinese team, which will do part of its training for the Summer Olympics in North Texas. The Mavs' summer league team is expected to include current rookies Marquis Daniels and Josh Howard. Yao, a two-time NBA All-Star center with the Houston Rockets, leads China.

The daylong event will include skills competitions by competitors in the Global Games, a basketball tournament taking place in Dallas featuring the top junior teams in the world.

anyone know where you can get tickets for this event?

I woulld have agreed with you if the CNT still had their old coach. For some reason, he did not emphasize Yao in the offense and the CNT guards were really inept at getting the ball into the low post. I expect more from a team coached by Del Harris.

The game may ultimately be close but IMO it will be more attributable to Harris playing his bench than Yao underperforming for the game.

I don't know about that, I am not a fan of the food, and I prefer my dogs as pets.

Yep. The Chinese actually raise a dog as a pet then eat him for lunch. Eating fish while keeping other fish as pets is logically contradictory that it's basically incomprehensible.

That's what those 'all you can eat buffet' gave Chineses food a bad name, try some 'real' thing when you get a chance. I'm sure you won't be disappointed.
