Bought a bit more aehr despite starting my position at $2.50. averaged up to $9 now. Most exciting hold for me, both short and long term. Earnings beat and 80% guidance raise is good, but reading the earnings call made me realise this is just the start, a lot more tam left to go and recurring revenues after that (consumables cost around 50% per year of the cost of the machine).
Stocks Tumble on Higher T-note Yields and Weak Consumer Confidence Report https://www.barchart.com/story/news...te-yields-and-weak-consumer-confidence-report Repeat of March 2021 i guess.
in the midst of this selloff today, , this bulll maintains his all-in call btw, you may have to change your avatar, as Socialist firebrand, Sen Elizabeth Warren, in a senate committe hearing, told witness J Powell that she will not vote for his re-nomination as Fed Chair
She opposed J Poww in 2017 as well -- didn't work then either. Warren is financially illiterate and takes extreme stances to boost her brand and future book sales.
stop projecting (your inadequacy w financial issues) ! if only you're half as astute on financial matters as Warren, you'd be a millionaire many times over
Yeah not selling anything. Unless it's pandemic level stuff that shuts down the economy, not going to react to these types of headline noise. I do think a lot of the saas sector have gotten way ahead of themselves, but my exposure is very small, if there's a big correction will want to scale into them for long term holds. Stuff like net, team, twlo, meli super companies but with stretched valuations. Okta, crwd, zm, ping are prob reasonably priced but could still go down with sentiment. My non-tech stuff like cwh and frg are doing well with the increase in rates. Maybe rotate out of them and into saas later. React to price and long term valuations, not headlines. Hope jpow stays, he's been steady and consistent the last 2 years.
FWIW, According to the then-King of SPAC, Chamath Palihapitiya, 97% of SPACs are currently selling below the $10 mark
Most of the spacs we talked about over the last year are above $10. Like IPOs, there's good and bad. Some of the more talked about ones off the top of my head below. Maybe Chamath is the problem... VACQ/RKLB $15.50 DMYD/GENI $17.92 STPK/STEM $24.08 CCIV/LCID $25.61 KCAC/QS $24.86 LGVW/BFLY $10.44 SFTW/BKSY $10.35 HOL/ASTR $8.67 NKLA $10.79 DKNG $48.57 PIPP $9.72 ZNTE $10.11 SPCE $25.40 (Chamath backed, but I think he gave up on this one lol) SOFI $16 (Chamath backed) TRNE/DM $7.24 (Chamath backed) CLOV $7.46 (Chamath backed) In hindsight, the best part abt SPACs last year was that the warrants were undervalued. They were essentially 3-5 year ATM calls that could be had for 10% of the underlying, but market under priced them a lot before November 2020. Once everyone caught on then they became overpriced. $1 warrants became $4 despite no LOI.
What is CEI again? Why is it going up again? My 100 shares is doing work. This is hilarious. Meanwhile my carefully planned ERX/XOM play for 2021 isn't exploding as I'd hoped.
CEI is simply the greatest Houston Rocket since Hakeem ... Hell of a run this month by the meme squad.
I was late to the camber party/squeeze. Jumped into FAMI as a sympathy play. Didn’t bank but didn’t lose. Debating holding it a few days next week. It is a China stock after all. Anyone who had LK would know. BTw I made a ton off LK though lol! Then got a class action lawsuit letter in the mail
no the fibonaci retracement level at 62% is ~ 1558; if that holds as support, only then, take a gamble
