that second unit looks strong . Tate , kmj , and house flying around on D with Alpi and possibly Garuba is very intriguing .

dj does a good enough job .

I just really like Tate . He’s got some hidden playmaking ability that could shine in that environment

 

Fine with Gordon starting, showcase for trade. KMJ at sg though...

 

EG will hopefully build up that trade value, but man, he sure looks good in practice only to become a brick man during actual game time. Really need him to be on his game so we can send him somewhere.

 

Feel like Gordon’s best showcase could be averaging 17 off the bench with efficiency. Think with a 3 guard lineup there will be a lot of isolation and he may be better off getting his minutes when one of Green or Porter is on the bench. I think he’ll at least have the value Lou Will did when we traded for him to be our sixth man a few seasons back.

Wood (I think?) guarding House on the perimeter and gets a piece of his stepback 3 which airballs, offensive rebound by Sengun who goes up strong for the putback and the foul. Love this clip.

If you're a fan of the "first unit"... wtf are they doing defensively lol? Why is Wood guarding House and not Sengun and Green is guarding Sengun and Theis is chasing Exum??

Its because 2nd unit did a little switch there... i guess they're switching everything on that... probably bad idea. Green is not Harden from a guard the post perspective that's for sure.

I slowed it down and it looks like that airball was just an airball (no block). Love Sengun banging down-low, though. Of course all he had to do was box out that random skinny dude.
