Well, I never suggested there was "robust data indicating efficacy", as of now, there's been several smaller studies suggesting all sorts of different things.

That's why I said several times that it's not some miracle cure.....it's just one of the things being used right now. There is no consensus one way or the other. I know of anecdotes, and doctors that swear by it as part of a treatment plan as a result of their experiences. I know of doctors that prefer other drugs and don't prescribe it.

My issue is with completely ignorant people suggesting the drug is dangerous.....or that it's not a drug intended for humans.

Most people who get COVID won't need any prescription drugs at all, especially if they are vaccinated. That's why the entire conversation is a bit ridiculous. If a doctor prescribes you something, just take it. That's essentially my message.

    Lol
Back to square one where u r telling me if happen to get COVID and doctor prescribes me medications to treat it, just take them (ivermectin). But if Doctors tells me 2 get the vaccine, (it's a conspiracy by big pharma).

Either u completely trust the doctor or not at all. Such a contradictory person to discuss this with.

We can end it here. Ivermectin has yet to been approved by the fda for covid and should not be promoted as a treatment for covid until there is enough data that supports that it is effective for covid.

I have never said ivermectin is not intended for humans, I said using it off label is potentially dangerous since there is not enough data to know the long term effects it has on the covid population, must less effectiveness.

Poster btch about the fda approval for vaccines were to fast yet fast to promote a med the fda has not approve that it could b used for. Either u trust the fda or u dont.

Point to where you think I said that killer.

    I'll wait.

Once you get done arguing with that straw man, head back and I'll continue to show why your ignorance when it comes to prescription drugs is embarrassing.

There's no point in reasoning with u. Ivermectin does not have enough evidence it is safe 2 be used for that indication (covid treatment). The majority of the doctors will not prescribe that for covid and would recommend the vaccine

We can argue back and forth fact stand ivermectin has not been approved for covid treatment and lf u want to use it if u got covid go for it. Weigh the risk and benefits cause I'm sure as hell not using it even if remdesivir and the rest fails.

Weigh the risk and benefits of everything before taking it. We have different levels of risk tolerance so don't act like I'm ignorant for not accepting a drug not yet Approved by fda as safe when it is being used as covid treatment.

I guess I'll weigh in since I've commented and I can't get my son to sleep. I'm vaccinated and so is my wife. My job requires it.We took Pfizer. We've both had Covid as well. We have two children. There's no ****ing chance they are putting that **** in their system. It's irresponsible parenting if you do. We will wait

If you expect someone else to live by your opinion then frankly you're an idiot. You handle your situation and that's it. That's why our country is where it's at. @SamFisher it's hilarious a lawyer in New York has so much free time. Your nose is growing before you answer

It seems like your kids, and the kids they go to school with, and your kids teachers, are "liv[ing] by your opinion."

I think that it's best you don't talk about anyone's children or how they raise them. You probably don't have any (I'd bet money on it) so go to bed before you say something stupid

Ok. So I'm missing your point here. I'm vaccinated. So my wife. Not letting my kid's near it. Not sure how we split hairs

No I had symptoms three days after... then the dr was a bit later because I wasn't sure and I didn't have a heart doc. She confirmed others are reporting the same feeling in this time frame. Sorry if I wrote it in a way that made it appear like I went to the doc the same day. My heart has no history of issues and I'm again not anti-vax but the risk is higher with this one. I've had all kinds of vaccines in the past; really heavy ones. This was different. The drug companies shouldn't be exempt from liability at the very least.

ALSO again people need to make their own decisions. That is my personal experience and opinion. You all do you.

Another guy "doing his own research"... on a basketball message board.

Here's the source - big Pharma doesn't want you to see it:

I see. Thanks for clarifying that for me.

I know heart issues, chest pain, etc. are a fairly common side effect of the virus. Hopefully what you experienced was just your body's immune response, you'll have good protection far into the future, and no lasting side effects.

I don't disagree about letting drug companies off the hook, especially if vaccines are made to be mandatory, but at the same time we're dealing with a virus that could potentially become even more dangerous.

Hopefully this **** ends on a positive note and soon.

I want it to end. An Oxford scientist recently said by next year it could be as weak as a cold. https://www.thetimes.co.uk/article/...xford-vaccine-creator-sarah-gilbert-npkds93zd

Good luck with your stance when they are of school age...likely to expand to include covid once saner heads prevail.

Texas Minimum State Vaccine Requirements for Students Grades K-12

This chart summarizes the vaccine requirements incorporated in the Texas Administrative Code (TAC), Title 25 Health Services, §§97.61-97.72. This document is not intended as a substitute for the TAC, which has other provisions and details. The Department of State Health Services (DSHS) is granted authority to set immunization requirements by the Texas Education Code, Chapter 38.

Right now the safest people in the world are the unvaccinated. The vaccinated dont know if they're coming or going because the so-called specialists keep adding natural ways of dying to the Covid list.
