Cayleigh Griffin returns for her third season as the Rockets sideline reporter and host of the weekly magazine show, “Rockets All Access.” Once again this season, AT&T SportsNet’s pregame, halftime, and postgame coverage will include Kevin Eschenfelder along with Rockets great and Hall of Famer Calvin Murphy. New this season, Rockets coverage will include reoccurring appearances by Mario Elie, who played in the NBA for 11 seasons and won two championships with Houston and one with San Antonio before spending 10 seasons as an assistant coach.
Interesting "out-of-the-box" hire. I've listened to his takes on Sirius. He was pro Harden and Rockets from what I recall when other guys were against the style we played a few years ago. I can't remember much of his style, though since I haven't listened to him in over a year. lol. He was kind of animated, and of course he did play, so ...
my thoughts exactly. He was an entertaining guest on nba radio every time I heard him. Maybe he gets annoying on a nightly basis but we’ll have to see. I like the hire.
I like Ryan Hollins. Heard him a couple of years back and he has good things to say bout my rockets soooooo why not?
Kind of weird as usually a color analyst has some sort of ties to the organization.. like a former player or coach. But, maybe he’ll be great. Looking forward to the first broadcast.
There’s no way in hell I could listen to Perk for an entire basketball game, much less an entire season.
Saw him on a few ESPN talk shows, and he was horrible. However, my guess is he was on there to just say some weird controversial "hot take." Would like to hear him when he's not told exactly what to say.
That came out of left field. I mean he can be good but he has no affiliation with the Rockets. I was hoping it would be someone like Cat.
I always thought he maybe was referring to something related to his ownership in the Houston Push (with Moochie Norris as coach), but I'm not sure.
