Well, against my better judgement, I tried with you. Go on looking foolish if that's what you want to do hero.
Citation? The problem is, your choice endangers everyone else typhoid mary. And let's get it back to basketball, one unvaccinated player is an added risk to the success or failure of the whole team. You are one of an eight man rotation and counted on to contribute. You get covid and you are out two weeks if not effected permanently. You can infect vaccinated players, mildly, but then they can take the virus home to children or compromised family members. You get paid, millions, to be part of a team. If you want to be a rugged individualist, void your contract and go live in the wilderness.
Agreed i do still believe that it a personal choice but sometime you have to think of others and what you can cause by not being vaccinated.
how’s about we all go on looking foolish or bright on hoops related topics; no need, none, to pick up on America’s moot debate point. Basketball, ladies and gents. B a s k e t b a l l!
And how many times have you had to show proof of mandatory vaccination for your employment? I’ll wait…
agreed… I can’t keep up I’ll agree to disagree Your not comparing apples to apples though. The flu vaccine would be a better comparison. Has the flu been eradicated?
https://www.theatlantic.com/ideas/a...-arent-just-as-likely-to-spread-covid/620161/ Stop it Bobby. And people who are old and have health complications are still at risk if they get covid even with the vaccine.
You mean the pandemic that has a 0.00571% mortality rate to persons under thirty here in the US. Again, I’m not ant vaccine. It makes perfect sense for some. You do you brother
Oy vey! Vaccines do not eradicate overnight, it is a process. Herd immunity is part of the process towards this end. Even Polio is starting to recur because anti-vaxxers have begun to grow at alarming rate.
700, 000 dead in our country in just 2 years. That's more than all the WARS the US has fought in the 20th AND 21st century. COMBINED.
If you're vaccinated, your body kills it faster so you're infectious for a much smaller window. That's a pretty big deal in and of itself.
We’re a year and a half into this thing and dudes are still saying it’s the flu. You’re arguing with a rock. Just lock the thread up.
agreed but unlike the vaccine in question I can take a Polio vaccine, with known long term side effects, and be 99-100% protected from contracting polio
If polio comes back, remember it was only an epidemic not a PANDEMIC, you can still contract it until herd immunity is reestablished. Herd Immunity is the key to "eradication" (your words).
again, if you look at the statistics, it makes perfect sense for anyone over the age of 50, not arguing that
College kids dead because of Covid: https://www.nytimes.com/2020/09/29/us/college-student-dies-covid.html https://www.theolympian.com/news/coronavirus/article254580002.html https://www.fox4news.com/news/19-year-old-navarro-college-student-dies-from-covid-19 All 3 were healthy college students, now they are dead. Get vaccinated, don't play Russian Roulette with your life. The mythology of the young being healthy is a myth....statistically they are healthier but you don't know if you will have long term effects or frankly die......the shot is FREE, it protects you and others, there is literally NO reason to avoid the vaccine.
