he does. hes only had to deal with it in less than a year so far. It's just a matter of time til it runs its course. the honeymoon phase means nothing right now. 0 expectations that come with job security. Another year of sucking and being one of the worst led franchises in the league eventually take its toll
Agreed. And who do you think was pushing for Jeremy Lin.... after seeing the Yao money come in..... Morey made his mistakes but the owner ultimately tells the GM what to do. I wish the Harden/Morey era would have ended on a better note, but that's not the way it ended up.
Honestly I don't think it was just Les pushing the deal through. Morey had a analytical boner for Jeremy. What he didn't realize is that Lin had really terrible basketball IQ and relied a lot on athleticism. Oh well hindsight is 20/20, Morey had his blunders, but he has done very well from building around Yao and Harden.
Houston is really bad at giving us content. Why isn't there a camera following them or a vlog or something? Jalen Green and JChris had a camera following them since middle school. Other teams are much better at delivering content for the fans than the Rockets.
Other teams are much better, but I must admit they've improved a bit - the new media team definitely has some talent and I like the content they've curated thus far on Social Media (and the youtube documentaries). They need the camera always rolling though - young team can definitely excite the fans.
I thought it was common knowledge at this point Les was the one who pushed for Lin. This was also known by some when it was actually happening.
Les Alexander wanted Lin, he was angry that the Rockets didn't secure his services before the Knicks did. Alexander watched a lot of Linsanity and wanted it to come to Houston. Obviously it didn't go real well. Les Alexander also wanted MDA to be his coach and chose him. He also told Morey to spend money or else the year that the Rockets added Anderson and Gordon..... Morey had wanted to wait. Alexander was someone that wasn't greatly involved day to day, but he definitely would step in and make big decisions and really didn't care what others thought of the decisions he made.
Pros running lines?? Who would have thunk? Also, whoever is closest to the camera (KPJ?) is shorting their runs... LOL....
Lakers are 1 of the best at it…Rockets give us absolutely nothing remember when we had to go to Morey’s Instagram just to get a 10 second clip of a practice during training camp
