"[Rockets]...they saved my life, potentially, so..."

I'm praying Scoot is on the right track and has a breakout season as our PG. We have to pull for this young man and support him.

 

He used the word “depression” when responding to a question about balance of mental health and bb. Sounds like he was in a bad mental spot while in Cleveland.

 

He either breaks out or we trade him. He's 21 and this is his 3rd year in the league. It's show up or go home time for him.

 

KPJ and Danuels interviews we're definitely the most interesting

 

You know some people care about scoot as a person but some like you only care about the basketball aspect.

I'm happy for him and it's good to see the best player on the team so grateful to the franchise for what they've done for him so far.

You can’t help but root for the kid. I really enjoyed watching him and am excited to see what this group can do. I’m hopeful they’re better than what most are expecting.

Listening to this makes me root for him even more than I already was. I’m really happy for him from a non basketball standpoint that he was able to turn his life around. From what he said he wasn’t even enjoying basketball when it was supposed to be an escape for him, now he’s back to enjoying basketball and being happy in his life. I also really hope he has a breakout year this year.

Awesome to see how real he was with his struggles. Fantastic to see the Rockets help him through the tough times and help him grow as a person. No doubt this all helps to continue to unlock him on the court as well. His talent is through the roof. When he is feeling well mentally he is a beast. Still remember his game against us for the Cavs where he was scoring at will and guarding Harden pretty well. Rooting for him to have a great season on and off the court.

 

I love the guy so much. He doesn’t seem as focused on PR as most of the players in the league. He seems genuine when he says this stuff.
