What is a true blue super fan

Why dont you believe in giving the guy a chance?

What would you consider a successful enough season that would make yo think Mills could be the future at QB for the Texans.

I'm not saying he's got the IT factor, I'm saying I dont know if he has the it factor.

How do you know he doesn't have the IT factor?

When you're watching a player and he does something that absolutely "STANDS OUT". Deshaun with the long run in Cincy, Lamar with everything he did his first yr, same for Mahommes.

Mills has a good arm and he's pretty athletic, but he doesn't have that "IT" factor like Rodgers, Brady and those players I mentioned above. Now, I do think he has the ability to be an average Starting QB in this league with the right people around him.

However, we need to ask ourselves, is AVERAGE good enough??

Because he sexually assaulted 22 women. He has no power here. He loses money if he refuses to play, he’s lucky Texans are waiting it out.
And no, he isn’t a game changing QB. That’s Mahomes out of his draft class.

That’s fair, but it’s still early. He hasn’t had the opportunity to show anything

I love how some of you folks are giving the Texans a pass in all of this.

The Texans didn't tell him to be a rapist.... and he was initially upset about his buddy BOB getting fired. He then demanded to have the power to act as de facto GM and the team said no.... as they should have.

There simply is nothing to blame on the Texans here. It's 100% on Watson for being a scumbag.

Not even a little bit. They’re incompetent at the top. I think Caserio will change that.
But, it’s far worse to defend or “give a pass” to sexual assault over plain stupidity.

If they believe he is a rapist. They are willingly employing a rapist. They are paying the said rapist millions to do nothing. They are paying him millions to support his lifestyle. They are paying him millions to mount a defense against his victims.

The Texans are hoping to find the said rapist future employment (making millions) so they can benefit in the draft. There is no way around it. Sitting him out ain’t doing squat when the team has literally nothing to lose. The team is going to struggle anyways! For all of their Christian values bullsh*t this is their big opportunity to make a statement and they’re blowing it. Cut him!

It's pretty clear you are only speaking out on Watson's behalf here.

You argue the team, upon finding out that their star QB that they've always done everything for was a rapist who was demanding that he be allowed to act as de facto GM and name all of the team's hires or he'd refuse to play for them, should have immediately cut said star player like he wanted so that he could get picked up elsewhere and face no consequences whatsoever for his actions to the detriment of the Texans.....

By keeping Watson on the bench, they are taking away a year of his career he'll never get back. It's the harshest consequences he'll face for sexually assaulting dozens of women and his b****assness he pulled with the team.....and even that small punishment upsets you. Kind of says a lot.

How am I speaking out on Watson's behalf when I'm saying to cut the guy? It's time for him to go, and yet the Texans give him the year off (paid millions) and are actively seeking other employment for him so he can continue to make millions while hoping to get draft picks from it. Cutting off his money is punishment and payed time off is not. Finding him another team is not. They have a chance to make a loud statement and are missing it. And what are they risking? Someone else's draft capital? To support a rapist? The Texans are getting a pass.

Nonsense, taking away a year of his career is punishment for Watson's b****assness......and his sexual assault of dozens of women.

You are upset that he's being punished for his actions and you are advocating that he be cut so that he can get paid somewhere else like he wants and continue playing right away.

The small punishment of having to sit out a season is more than you can bear. You want your guy to face no repercussions whatsoever, you want him to actually profit from his b****assness towards the team and his habit of serial sexual assault. Kind of makes you wonder why.....

You're delusional. Taking away a year of MONEY$$$$ would be a punishment, cutting him checks and finding him a new team isn't. Let a possible new team worry about the PR fallout of signing a rapist. BTW, what team is going to give him $100+ million in his current state? He has no leverage and yet the Texans keep paying him. Cut him and make a statement that you're not going to support his lifestyle, legal defense or his future. It's time to move on from Watson.

Boobythegreat is such a revisionist. The Texans are not punishing Watson by not letting him play. He is choosing not to play for a sht franchise while we have to pay him for no fking reason.

If Watson is a rapist he should b blacklisted from playing like kap. But the man is 2 good so we are literally holding him for a trade.

U got to work in pr, to spin it like the Texans are the one "punishing watson". He has a non trade clause so he can just dck around and get rich. In the end the Texans has to cater to a rapist regardless, that no trade clause is another piece of evidence of how much Texans were "enabling a rapist" b4 he got sick of their incompetence.

How can you make this judgement after 6 qtrs of football? Especially since the HC admitted he used a limited playbook?

I choose to judge him by other QB's in this class. You're judging him by Watson's game and they have two totally different styles of play.

Mills should be given every opportunity, the team is crap and isn’t going anywhere. It’s to take Caserio time to continue working his way into a healthy salary cap situation. In the meantime, I’d give Mills a chance to fail, develop and fail again. All the while looking or drafting QBs until I got it right.

He has guarantee money plus a no trade clause. He holds the power not our incompetent franchise. Can't even force him 2 play.
He is a game changing qb remember that bills game?

The team can absolutely force him to play, if he says no he’s forfeiting his money.
He has minimal power right now. Once the lawsuits are done he could have more.

He’s a playmaker, but his best year didn’t produce wins. He’s KAT or Kevin Love at this point.
