I think 17 games in 17 days caught up with the team. Some bad at bats these last few days. A’s had some situational hitting and moved runners over, Astros sat there looking at pitches and whatever that baserunning thing was.

I just don't have the confidence in this year's Astros team that I had in the '17 - '19 Astros.

 

pressly seems weak mentally....the guy does not do well in spots when things aren't going his way. Get the out with 2nd and 3rd, instead of throwing a meatball in the middle of the plate

I'm not feeling this team going into the playoffs like in recent years. I'll still watch of course but not getting my hopes up.

 

This team is literally limping into the playoffs. Not sure if I want them to make it the way they’re playing.

 

They are not as good because of the starting pitching. Verlander, Cole, Kuechel, Morton and Springer was clutch in the playoffs.

 

This team has all the elements of a team that backs into the playoffs and then gets swept.

 

Screwed around and made things more interesting in this last home stand than they should have been. Astros usually struggle against TB. And then even if the A's have been eliminated by next weekend, you know if they have a chance to do damage to the Astros with either getting the 2 seed or god forbid the division if it hasn't been clinched, they will be all over that opportunity.

 

If ever a team had those elements it was last years Astros....

 

Offense in a slump big time.
