Thanks for the report! and take care.

We really take our endless supply of vaccines completely for granted here, clearly.

    Awesome info! Thanks!

How's business there? Does it seem like many businesses will be shut down once this is all over, due to lack of funds from being closed down? That happened here in the States, to an extent. It seems like it hit the restaurant industry the hardest...

It's pretty crazy how different the Covid experience has been state by state. I'm over in Perth where the longest lockdown we've had was about 4 or 5 weeks right at the start of the pandemic and we haven't really had to deal with an outbreak at all because our premier loves to slam the border shut.

But even though we haven't had any restrictions other than not being able to leave the state, we still had a protest of several thousand last week, although it was completely incident free and nothing like the madness going on in Melbs.

Most of us couldn't understand what they were protesting about and it turned out it was organised by health workers who don't want a vaccine. So yeah, covid is sending people crazy even in a place that doesn't have covid.

What do you get when you flood a new land with criminals and other undesirables from society who by nature enjoy breaking rules and then the lowest tier of authority that takes pleasure in enforcing rules with violence; the prison guard?

Modern day Australia. These are their ancestors.

You continue to impress with your ignorance. You seem to think that the criminality of people who lived in the 1700’s is genetic and has passed on from generation to generation to present day Australia. Pure ignorance.

I would add that if you had ever spent any time in any part of Australia, you would know that there is good and bad in a country that big, but overall culture of Australia is good natured, welcoming and warm. America would do well to remember that.

Only if there's a devil inside. That would definitely be a new sensation from hanging off a door knob.

My ex lived in the house in London where Michael Hutchence's ex lived (Paula Yates, who also killed herself).

KTXH 20 used to do Astros promos with that song, in between Silver Spoons reruns and new episodes of Time Trax and James Bond Jr. Channel 2 used to play Black Betty before Craig Roberts's Sunday sports show, just to balance out the energy level ahead of time.
