This is why it’s plausible to see the Rockets name mentioned in Simmons trades.

Maybe Stone and the Rockets don’t see KPJ as a long term answer.

Personally, I don't think rookies should be included in rankings. They haven't played a single NBA minute.

Cade at this point is still seen as a better prospect than Green, because Cade is more than just a scorer; so the 20 spots in difference is somewhat justifiable.

I actually think the Rockets would still trade Green for Cade straight up if Detroit called. But who knows where the ranking will be by the end of the season.

I can agree with the higher ranking....but 20 spots is still a little crazy to me haha.

If Green's 3 point jumper can hold up.....than this will be a very interesting season.

I would do that before the draft. I would not do that today.

How do you rank rookies before they’ve ever played a game?

Here's what is absolutely mind-boggling: Klay Thompson at #32.
I am a Klay admirer, but he is actually older than both John Wall and Boogie Cousins, and he is coming from a 2 year injury... Hopefully he can come back, but he may very well be dun (like Boogie), or at 50% of what he was (like Wall last year)... Are these writers experts in orthopedics to know these things?

    How disrespectful you are.
Jalen Green is not top 50 right now, he is a top 3 player behind Lebron and Durant. Don't ever disrespect Jalen Green like that.

Based on irrational hype. Didn't you hear, he's the next MJ.

Remember: Rockets are the whipping boy of most sports writers because sports writers are nonathletic wimpy boys with mother issues who don't actually have the wherewithal to play the sports they obsess over; which is why mommy wouldn't sign the permission slip. Why does that matter? I unno. Just wanted to insult them back for being constant dicks.

These lists much like predicting standings are something that media types do to try to show their expertise. Like KPJ's disappointment in his game ranking, hopefully our guys just use it as motivation or pay no attention to them at all.
