Don't know if it's that they're bored and waiting for the playoffs but I have MAJOR concerns about this team facing good/elite pitching.
Mariners down 12-1 to the Angels in the 5th. Astros could clinch tomorrow if the score holds (Astros win+ Angels win Sunday.).
Taking Framber out was the right call. The A’s were making hard contact that inning and he’d just hit a batter. You can argue Graveman wasn’t the right guy to bring in, but he looked fine that inning. The next was his problem. The Astros have scored 5 runs total in their last three losses. Pitching and bullpen decisions are not the problem right now.
And their three games before that? 39 for 124, .315/.374/.573, 29 runs scored, 20 LOB. Three game up and downs happen all the time. Hopefully we see more of those three previous games than the last three games.
no. No. No. This team plays with no urgency. Not clutch. No elite hitters on this team. This season is falling apart. (Did I do this right)
