Not sure why Green has a hard time on defense....this has always been his downfall. I agree though if he gets hot he can be a key to push us over the hump. Even House if either of these two guys can get hot a play a little defense can help us a long way.

Green needs help from MDA. Draw him up some specific actions to free him up for jumpshots.

The eye test definitely points him out as our worst defensive player.

knowing MDA and how serious our each minute is against the warriors, I wouldn't be shocked to see a 7 man rotation like we saw last year. just keep Austin out there for more minutes, he's had a very positive impact. something like:

    capela (36) - nene (8)
    tucker (40)
    ego (40)
    harden (44) - Austin (28)
    Paul (44)

but sometimes its worth throwing green out there if the offense is sputtering. you never know when he hits 2 or 3 in a row. shumpert probably should only play if someone gets in foul trouble. the 3's he hit aren't something we can count on next game.

Minutes weren't too bad last night. Thought MDA played the starters a bit more than he would because it was basically an elimination game.

Gerald Green is the worst defender I have ever seen in my life.

Green can't defend nobody, all he does is shoot some ridiculous bricks

Green is a pg an explosive one. KPJ takes away from him since he wants to be the star. A catch and shoot player compliments Green better or Jaygup.

Green is an off the ball scorer. Not a PG.
But I am worried about a score first PG next to him. A pass first PG would actually be preferable.

@Bobbythegreat we never would’ve gotten this necro bump if we drafted Mobley instead

    And that’s important

Neither are ball dominant score first pgs.

    I don't see your point
