But I mean Johnny, he hasn't dug his mind into balling and balling only. That's literally all Philadelphia has EVER asked Ben to do. That is literally why we're at this moment. The stupidity of sports stars is truly staggering at times.
JH type drama all over again only Simmons thinks he’s as important and vital to the org, but he’s sadly not.
Clutchfans would melt down If he did that passing up a layup and losing a game 7 cause he was scared It would be unforgivable
That loser culture had the BEST record last season. And 76ers also had top 3 MVP candidate AND top 3 DPOY candidate. Hate the player, hate the FO, hate the organization but it is unnecessary to push a false narrative.
Right? He's being paid to play the game he loves & he sucks at shooting & Sixers tell him to practice his shooting & Ben wants to be a baby & doesn't like to be reminded that he sucks at shooting so he's sitting out... He gets 30+ mills a year to shoot a ball & this guy doesn't have the heart to perfect his game.
"Ben Simmons ain't done none wrong". yeah it's never their fault, blame it on someone else, hmm how about their agent?
John Wall, 4yrs 171M, is trying to excuse Ben Simmons, 5yrs 177M, for his actions. Awesome. We all to one extent or another can relate to the idea of work encroaching upon our home lives, as much as we would let it basically. The modern world is full of examples of unhappy people, just trying to be as free as they can, but constrained by the commitments they've made to their jobs. I am the same way to a much much lesser extent, working 70hr weeks with maybe 2-3wks off per year and no timeline where it might ever improve until I retire. I can't complain though because it keeps the lights on. Just trying to FIRE ASAP like the rest of us millenials. But Wall and Simmons? Give one guy 5 more years of this and the other 10, and both will be FIRE for the rest of their lives, eating chicken wings on TV with Shaq and Chuck and Perk and Pierce and TMac, wearing suits 3 sizes too big and laughing all the way to the bank.
Good to see brothers come together and defend each other. Every race does it and Noone bats an eye. There is nothing wrong with brothers unifying against petulant child, blind hate.
You could argue that in his lack of improvement, his team has failed him. You can tell someone to practice shooting all you want, but practicing a flawed technique will only get you more poor results. Maybe he want's to go somewhere that will enhance his skills.
Well said. To be fair, he hasn't done that for us, and were he to end up with the Rockets, as unlikely as that is, I would give him a chance to have a fresh start and show what he can give us playing for Houston, for the fans, and for the organization (I could care less what he might think of ownership - I'm talking about everyone else). Having put that out there, hell yes, if he'd done that in a critical playoff game, at the most crucial juncture where literally your season is on the line, as he did for the Sixers, I would be one of the first to unload on him, hopefully before the server crashed.
