The way some of our pen can suck.... entirely possible if he keeps it going for the rest of year.

Plus the prospect they got looking good and if they still had Straw, the Astros wouldn't have known that Meyers was capable in the MLB. And Siri as well.

Yeah he's raking and Straw was easily replaceable.

The one who went 2-5 with a HR and 3 RBI in his last start, yesterday?

Well crazy as it sounds we could get to 100 wins again.

Would probably require a sweep of the A's this weekend after the sweep of the Angels tomorrow.

Rays have nothing to play for next week. And the A's on the closing weekend will be in the game position.

Rays hopefully have to play to stay ahead of us. 2.5 back with 3 H2H.

The Rays have plenty to play for. If the Astros get to 100 wins then they would have passed the Rays for the #1 seed.

Too bad M.Fiers does not get to witness greatness. He said to be injured again, another feeble attempt to avoid his greatmates.

Probably sore ear drums, his homer sounded like a sonic boom

I wonder if they've tried inserting a microphone in a bat or ball just to see what the sound is like from the INSIDE? With modern cupped ends on the bats, that one seems to be easier to visualize than inserting one in a ball.

Yordan likes to conserve his energy at times. That might be what Dusty is seeing with his gate walking back to the dugout.

Reminds me of Josh Fields. If we can just figure out how to trade him for the same kind of return.

I think he's fine in very small doses. Unfortunately you don't always get that luxury with the new rules. He'd be ideal in a situation where the starter is tiring, has 2 outs, runner on first base, and he faces a lefty and only needs one out.

He also needs an off-season to really refine his arsenal. There's certainly stuff there that they can possibly improve upon.
