John wall has been crap forever now. Simmons has problems but wall is a negative contract. Anyone thinking that wall can be traded for Simmons without at least 2-4 FRPs is smoking dope.
Sorry I live the rockets but wall does not contribute to a winning team and is grossly overpaid. Nets at least came close against bucks with Simmons going batshit choker. If his head is on right they’d be better; that team only has one real superstar but Simmons is good is you get him on the right team. For example, him with 2 of the nets stars would be amazing (not as good as all three nets stars though, unless you swap him for Irving). I think Simmons with a healthy Durant and harden would be unbelievable. Simmons just needs the right team. Wall doesn’t have a right team bc he’s always injured, thinks he’s better than he is and is overpaid. Sorry just not a fan of wall after he started getting injured all the time.

 

Morey should pull a McHale and send Ben Simmons to the Rockets for Wall.

Rockets can then fully commit to small ball and Ben Simmons can never take another jumper in his life because he'll be playing center.

 

Simmons the person seems to never want to be better. Reports say his work ethic lacks. Trading him to a place that changes his position where he will be physically challenged will make do what. There is a obvious OBVIOUS difference between paying the Superman to a player and being good enough to win a championship (Simmons is NOT that player) and someone that is good enough to make a team like the Rockets last year not have the worst record in the league. Complete false equivalency. This team statistically should have a chance to be better in five years 99% chance now compared to the high chance of mediocrity if Simmons were here.
