    That was Saturday, and yes that was a smart move (Omar Lopez told him to do that, Tucker didn't think of it on his own).

    Yesterday he does the worst possible thing you could do with a 1st and 3rd situation, nobody out, down by a run...

    If it was a sure DP, then it was the right thing to do. But no way was that going to be a DP unless Meyers falls down running to first.

    He didn’t go on contact. He hesitated which allowed plenty of time for the relay to go home instead of first.

    if he goes on contact and the third baseman attempts to throw him out rather than go for the DP (not an easy throw), there are still two men on with one out.
