Tucker is a great candidate. So many huge hits in key situations.

    Either him, Yordan or Pressly.

It's definitely Correa but Tucker is a strong second.

Correa and Tuckers WAR per PA is basically dead even, if Tucker had stayed healthy it's a coin flip.

Although Correa almost certainly did get hurt back around the all star break, but chose to play through it (poorly) because he knew how much his injury track record was weighing on his earning potential. Had he not played through that stretch his OPS and BA are both as good as Tucker's, and his overall WAR is probably higher than it is now. But people would point to yet another season with an injury.

Either way, Correa is the team MVP right now, but it's close enough that Tucker could catch him with a strong finish. Altuve's fWAR has him basically neck and neck with those 2, but he's still a clear 3rd to me.

He’d be behind Otani and Vlad Jr., in a tier with carlos Correa, who I believe is top 5 AL in War. That’s my point- that’s what it would take for Tucker to be as valuable as CC. Gold glove is probably too far- above average CF is what it would take, probably.

The clubhouse attendant who warms up Dusty's Ovaltine and shakes him awake in the top of the 6th.
