    I assume people are still upset about his comments after last game, but I agree with you. A fifth / sixth pitcher who can give a team a quality 5 innings is really nice thing to have particularly when you have a lot of young starters hitting career highs in innings pitched.

    He also apologized and explained why he said what he said.

    Kinda. Teo is basically the exact type of player the Astros miss on. Low pedigree guy with early contact problems. While he has a fairly balanced tool set, his non-hitting skills weren't standing out. He legit needed a few seasons to figure things out. The Astros won't carry a young, underperforming guy that long in general.

    Feel like Tucker got a much longer leash, a) because of pedigree but also because he's much more contact oriented. Crazy thing, Teo made the all-star team this year. Kyle Tucker has a higher wRC+ and more fWAR than Teo this season.
