Why don't you ever respond to my answers ? I've mentioned a million times to you all the things he's actually done yet you always skip over anything that doesn't fit your narrative
This whole thread is opinionating, the fact I presented is this... As unpopular as you think Biden is, Trump was decidedly MORE unpopular than Biden and it isn't even close. This whole thread is speculation, mid terms are next year, no one knows what will happen. 45% in the first year of his term is really not unheard of, Obama spent plenty of time being at (or around i should say) 45% and STILL won a 2nd term.
@basso who was the last US President that you approved of more than disapproved? W? H.W.? Reagan? Never?
If Trump runs in 2024 (I don’t think he will), we will have record turnout again and he will lose again. People will not have forgotten that **** show. if trump doesn’t run in 2024, Biden is going to have to do better. He won’t enjoy the benefit of the “anything is better than Trump” vote. To some extent, people will remember that the philosophy of “well, , this new guy can’t be THAT bad” can and did bite the country in the ass. But it’s going to be out there, and Biden needs to step things up in the coming years.
Yup. Biden has a lot of soft support as in "I just voted for him because he's not as bad as the other guy". A GOP candidate with Trump policies but not his vitriolic divisive mouth can easily beat Biden unfortunately.
Why are people talking about Biden in 2024? Has it not been known that he’s a 1 term President? Aside from people close to him saying that is the case from day 1, he will also be 82 at the end of this term. Who y’all really should be talking about is Kamala Harris. She might beat Trump just because the hate for Trump will outweigh the dislike or non-enthusiasm for her, but I would not be surprised if she lost to any non-Trump candidate.
Biden would be lucky to finish his term, and he won't run in '24. Kamala's your candidate, and she will lose bigly to any non-trump republican.
Ya I'm worried that might be the case but 2024 is far away. Party of me hopes Trump runs because I think it's a more sure fire way for the Democrat candidate to win but at the same time in afraid how toxic and even more divided the country will be enduring another Trump presidential campaign
I agree with both parts. If Trump lives that long he will run. No doubt. It's his money train, and escape from prison. He needs all the crooked people he can get on that Justice Dept to save him. He also needs to change the tax laws to suit him better. He needs to be in the spotlight. He thrives on attention. He loves it! Money, power, attention, and his big fat ego are what drive him. Nothing will stop him from running again except being locked up or buried 6 feet under. As for Biden, nobody expects him to run again. I guess having to deal with Mr. Psycho Trump running another campaign and go through that hate and division again has a silver lining. Nothing would be greater than seeing Trump lose to a black woman if Kamela runs against him. But, it would be one ugly campaign with all the bigots, racists, hate groups, and domestic terrorists types in the Trump cult.
IKE? LOL - you mean 87% corporate TAX RATE IKE? The one that built the largest middle class? The one that said we need to wind down the military industrial complex? That Ike? Hell has opened up - Basso and I agree. DD
@Os Trigonum This is why Trump supporters are a bigger threat to American sovereignty than the Taliban.
LOL... if you feel threatened, i'd be happy to buy you a one-way ticket to Kabul. I hear the Taliban is quite friendly as they scream "death to America".
