I gave up on AHS and Ryan Murphy a few years ago, he is terrible and every season is the same. He can get something interesting started and then it completely crashes and burns into hysterical bullshit in the last 5 episodes. The only reason to watch is to laugh at the acting and writing.
Yep. I anticipated the first few seasons. I thought season one was pretty good, but I thought it got weird halfway through. Was pumped for season two. The the same thing happened. Then season three. Then I quit. Maybe I watched a few more. Can't remember. If he would just let the realistic, natural storyline, that they set up in the beginning, this series would be great. Instead, it gets weird and stupid. The best seasons were Roanoke and the Mental Hospital.
I actually think the anthology approach works so much better than the full season story line.... This season has been ok, kind of goofy but watchable which is as much of a compliment as I can give....
This has been a good to very good season, not as great as the 1st but I think they solved the problem with the following seasons with them being only 5 episodes. Both of them have interesting story lines I have not finished the 2nd one if they stick the landing it could rival the 1st season a very interesting storyline. Not that many recurring actors and the ones returning have small parts, not really a bad thing either.
Enjoyed Death Valley much more than the first half mainly because I appreciated the flashback style they went with. The finale was a bit underwhelming....
Finally finished the 2nd part and it fizzled out as well. It was superior just because of Kai Gerber. Really enjoyed the ALT history and it had some great acting what they did with Kai was all kinds of ****ed up, LOL.
Unfortunately, it was fun until that ending. Murphy has some solid ideas but he can't seem to figure out how to finish them off, in this case he just finished it with no real ending it just stopped....
