They sure are! Much like our own team, I am not too worried about their hitting. The question will be whether their pitching can continue to be this effective.

They play TB six more times and that team has been hot also and for longer. Something will give there.

I cant figure out if NYY is real or not. They win 13 in a row and then lose 10 of their next 12. Jinxed by the 13?

Wouldn't surprise me if they find that switch again and go on a winning streak. And maybe another losing streak after that? What a roller coaster for that team and their fans.

Rumor has it Judge is going through a bad break-up with Joe Buck right now, and he's lost his focus. That Juan Soto is a homewrecker.

It happens. Yankees are just dealing with nearly their entire lineup having down years aside from Judge & Stanton (similar to us last year). And just like we did last year, they could put it together in the postseason and make a run.

Boston is the team that seems most likely to fall out.

I simultaneously want Toronto to make it as a baseball fan, but want them to fail as an Astros fan. They are clearly the best potential WC team. I'd then go Yankees.

I want the Yankees to not make it, which means that they will.

I think the Jays will make it, they are firing on all cylinders.

It’s a long season. Peaking right now guarantees nothing.

I also think teams that have more post-season experience know how to pace themselves during the season. Granted, the Astros in a better position to easily win their division and not have to fight it out with the others.

I am terrified of the Blue Jays in the playoffs. They remind me of the 17 Astros.

It's really looking like a Toronto / Boston wild card match up. I like Toronto but expect Boston.

The Yankees built their entire team on high strike out power hitters. It is like the 2015 Astros with less contact hitting and less defense.

Because their roster has a Teoscar, Springer, and Gurriel?

Because they have momentum, confidence, and cockiness.

I voted Jays/Yanks because NYY seems to always find a way to make the playoffs. But maybe not this year?

In the NL, the 2nd WC is kinda a joke because who ever gets there will either be destroyed by the Dodgers or the Giants.

Congrats to Geddy Lee of Rush on Toronto finally making it back to relevance in the MLB. It's been a long time.

The 2015 Astros were 1 Carlos Correa error/f'd DP from beating the WS Champs in the ALDS

Baseball's a bit funny like that.

7 straight years of being contending good is a really long time for a Houston team.

Don’t know that you could call the 2016 team really contending. The 2015 and 2016 teams were good, but the offense was really feast or famine.

2017 they changed approach and I’d argue that’s when they really started contending for a WS every year.
