Please point out any "stupidity" or "dishonesty" I've promoted. Be specific. You are so tiresome... STILL.
Actually believing, or pretending to believe, there is any sort of equivalency between the Democrats' and Republicans' positions on getting vaccinated for COVID. Based on the posts above it looks like you and basso are really determined to get the band back together and turn this into WMD 2.0. You are both going to actually ignore, or pretend to ignore, the clear difference in messaging from each party around the COVID vaccines which has resulted in vaccination rates that have varied significantly according to political affiliation. Again, it's very difficult to figure out whether or not you and basso believe most of the stupid **** you post.
Well said. The distraction of having to deal with their blatant disregard for factual information, regardless of how many times those facts are given to them, derail any attempt at "discussion and debate." In the other forums, I enjoy their posts, but here? With anyone else, I would simply call them trolls. We certainly have enough of those in D&D, but I don't consider @basso or @giddyup trolls. They are two otherwise good people, in my humble opinion, who are incredibly stubborn and so intent on "proving" that they are "right," despite the facts being laid out for them over and over again, that ultimately I find them far too frustrating to interact with in D&D.
I’ll add some in mother’s tongue. “ Mot thang ngu nhu lon ma luon luon venh vao tuong minh la cai ron cua vu tru”.
Was it the CDC and the vaccine developers that told Trump about bleach injections or to prop up hydroxychloroquine? now it’s “Democrats told everyone to not take the vaccine” these right wing hacks are too stupid to take seriously…they get beat down in every thread worse than that Karen’s husband at the Steelers game
Please provide, for all of us, an official Republican Party position on NOT getting vaccinated. We'll wait but it might be a while... Individuals still have a right to choose. Republicans are more inclined to listen to their own medical advisors. Democrats listen to the CDC and get in line. The vaccines, it turns out, are not the panacea that was hoped. That news has been developing over the last couple of months. Might that have something to do with a slow decline in a rising rate of vaccination? Went to my father-in-law's 85th birthday with a dozen family members a few weeks ago. Next day the hosts started feeling punky and both tested positive the next day. No one else there has tested positive despite proximity for hours, no masks, and goodbye hugs. I was unvaccinated at that point.
Geez, I don't think I've posted back here twice in 8 years and I'm still a "troll?" And I'm the stubborn one? What "facts" am I ignoring? That the vaccines don't work as well as was hoped? That vaccinated people are still getting and shedding the virus? I've not gotten the virus in 18 months and neither have any of my immediate family; I am the last to get vaccinated. I would have been confident going without one for myself but caved in due to anticipated pressures at work and out of the remote possibility of burdening the healthcare system locally. @Deckard -- thanks for your kind words and even though I'm not back here too much anymore (better things to do, I still think of you with that owl on your shoulder the night you met your wife, if I recall that story correctly.
Roughly translated. The poster who called you a fool is as dumb as a hog but he’s preening like he’s the center of the universe. Lol
You recall it close to correctly, @giddyup, only it was in the afternoon and I was sitting under a large bush with the owl on my shoulder, digging up worms and feeding them to him. Hey, I didn't call you a troll! Quite the opposite. You and basso drive me crazy down here, though. ;-)
I know you didn't; you were actually standing up for the humanity of basso and me! My response was hastily prepared and misrepresented what happened. You were only making reference to "you-know-who's" hum-drum, all-too-typical gutter-level accusation. Should I remind him that his now-president supported going into Iraq? https://www.factcheck.org/2019/09/bidens-record-on-iraq-war/ Some things never change, do they? I've been binging "The Man in the High Castle" and "you-know-who" reminds me of some of the enforcers in that series...
Biden and Harris both made points of it during the election. It was important for them to discredit it, as crediting would show Trump success against the pandemic, which would have worked against their main election talking point. Both said this multiple times, most especially Kamala. In the VP debate, Kamala specifically said she would not take the vaccine.
Is this what you are referring to? https://www.buzzfeednews.com/article/salvadorhernandez/kamala-harris-covid-vaccine-vp-debate "If Dr. Fauci, the doctors, tell us that we should take it, I'll be the first in line to take it," Harris said. "But if Donald Trump tells us we should take it, I'm not going to take it." Because that doesn’t match what you are saying. If not, can you point specifically to what you’re talking about?
