Biden is taking the smart political risk of mandates now and crushing covid for good versus prolonging the status quo. Since August and delta strain the jobs market and economy has been slugging and he recognizes covid can destroy whatever momentum he had in the economy. Go all in on defeating covid now and take these courageous choices now so in 6 months the country can be fully with no mandates or restrictions. Unless vaccines ramp up were never defeating covid that's a fact. Making hard choices that nobody is willing to do is what a leader should do.
