I saw someone on Twitter respond to Reddick being at the game by saying “Reddick is being paid $0 by Houston and yet he’s now been to more games this season than JV making $33M”... I’m not 100% sure it’s true but I’m assuming it is and damn kind of put it (my opinion of JV) in perspective... Something tells me he is going to rub me the wrong way during FA.

I remember when McCullers was this deep into his post TJ rehab, he was with the team. He wasn't on the active roster, but he was in uniform, doing long toss, shagging flies, in the dugout, etc. Same thing with Brandon Backe back in the day. Unless there is something specific that prohibits him from being with the big league club, it bothers me he's out farting around while collecting $60 mil over the last two seasons, and not pitching. With his age and experience, he could still be a leader and mentor to the rest of the pitching staff. Just be present for the stretch run before you cash and dash this offseason.
