Rockets are Rebuilding the Rockets will be improving because of Rookies learning the League and having so much talent and trying to prove themselves.
or this variation: to PHI: PatBev/EGo/House to MIN: Simmons to HOU: Beasley/Jaden Springer Doc has always been a big PatBev fan. @Clutch gets his guy I’d be really surprised if Moray can do better than that… Also, Rosas/Stone/Morley deal is more likely than a deal with other GMs who hate/distrust Morley
I think Rafael Stone wants more Draft Picks instead of this Deal. Eric Gordon and Danuel House can really have Higher Trade Value during the Trade Deadline. Hang on to those Players and trade them for more Late 1st Round Draft Picks. Rockets are doing the right thing in hanging on to Eric and Danuel to build up their value, even if Danuel is wearing #4. I will be happy once Danuel House Jr is finally traded. Hopefully Rockets don't sign Danuel to a Contract Extension.
In spite of the scorched earth policy on both sides, and Ben's most recent play.....Daryl can do A LOT better than that.
I agree in general, but you have a pressure situation on Morey and his two old pals can offer a solution that benefits everyone. So by being opportunistic and taking advantage you get Malik Beasley and Jaden Springer, two nice young players. Higher NPV assets than future protected picks. You are not guaranteed that you’ll have better circumstances at the trade deadline, even if EG and House perceived value gets higher. The opportunity may not be there.
Buddy Hield + Bagley is the alternative. That’s not a LOT better, that’s probably similar value. Bev/EGo/House are players Morey has liked before and signed to contracts. Doc likes Bev. Morey ain’t getting anything more than that…
Correct. They didn't even give Stone a chance lol. Why? These were the same ones who gave Morey a free pass for 10 years. Stone has pretty much fully rebuilt this roster from scratch in 1 season. Yet these idiot posters have gone into hiding
to Cavs: Simmons to Philly: Gordon, House, Augustin, Cav's 2024 1st to Houston: Love, Cav's 2022 1st The Cavs seem to be the only ones interested in Simmons but the problem is they have nothing to offer but garbage. We'll take out the garbage for a price and substitute a lessor poo poo plater. The 76ers have to unload Simmons and soon. Sure they can call his bluff but as we know, that doesn't help his value in any way. If Gordon stays healthy, Philly will have a better shooting team and a better spacing team. I personally think they will end up with more wins next year. The Rockets on the other hand could end up with 2 2022 lotto picks. Love and Wall will both be expirings in 2023 - about the time our young team is finding their legs so we'd have plenty of money to fill in the gaps.
you forget the GS Warriors, who had offered Wiseman and Wiggins, which was rejected by the over-rated Morey, the same genius who had compared J Lin to the likes of Iverson, CP3 and LBJ, when he kicked Dragic outta the door in order to offer a poisoned-pill FA contract the the flash-in-pan (for 3 wks)
Which is why he will be back there . . . . sitting on the bench and getting boo'd Love for Simmons? Darryl would never do that Rocket River
By saying that, he is lowering his value even further. So basically, he is saying that he's going to leave a trash trail in Philly. Which team would want a guy like that.
The expectations of the next team will CRUSH Him if he buckling under the pressure now Serious. . . .If he goes to the Cavs . . .he will have to be Lebron 2.0 esp if the team gives up a haul for him Simmon's ceiling is a good #2 . .. never a #1 a fantastic #3 Rocket River
Agree 100% on Morey: the most over-rated, self-promoting gGM in the league. The question is: is Wiggins better than EGo? I am not sure… Wiseman does nothing for Phily…
