I was about to post a very simliar sentiment. 5-12 WL and 7.13 The guy is a tomato can and a knucklhead to boot. We better whip his ass
This is a guess, not a report. I know trying to guess who Dusty will play and his BO is crazy, but what else is there to do? Maybe Stubbs gets a start since he bats left, maybe not. He’s appeared in 93 games and tallied 393 plate appearances with a .321/.372/.559 batting line in that time. Siri has clubbed 16 home runs, 29 doubles and four triples while also going 24-for-27 in stolen-base attempts. https://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2021/09/astros-to-select-jose-siri.html
Kinda nice two-fer with the A's vs Blue Jays @ 6:07pm ct Followed by this game Astros vs Padres @ 9:10pm ct
He's at 92 games this year, he played 122 and 111 and zero his first 3 years in pro ball so he gets a couple of days rest, there's 29+Postseason left. Alvarez/Tucker/Brantley only makes sense in an NL park when Framber is pitching, and those planets happen to align Saturday. Just guessing that's why he's out tonight, but I don't see the big deal.
