If I remembered correctly, Graveman never pitched in the 2 games in Seattle when he got traded. I think Dusty is being too careful with Graveman.
I absolutely ****ing love this Dusty v reporter exchange so much: "I thought you'd get [Graveman] up in the eighth once you took the lead." "[Dusty gives Stanek reasons]....You mean instead of who?" "He's your setup man, so I thought he would pitch the eighth." "Hey man, you're not the manager." "I know, that's why I'm asking you."
I also loved it (Chandler Rome confirmed it was him, btw). But I wished he’d asked about Graveman or even Javier in the 7th. His framing of the question as Graveman being the “setup man” validates Dusty’s traditional mindset vs the “toughest outs” approach most of us wish he’d take.
Dusty is illogical. Raley is garbage. Get rid of both and we’ll all be happier. Stanek throwing better than Graveman Dusty? Graveman last 3 games….3 innings, 1 hit and no runs. Is Dusty pissed cause he gave up a hit in 3 outings
