I've never been a fan of the methodology of going game by game and trying to predict a record over a longer sample size like that. You're always going to win games you should lose and lose games you should win. Given that schedule, I think somewhere between 5-8 wins seems realistic, though. If they're worse off than that, the rookies and young guys are really struggling. If they're better than that, they're way ahead of schedule.
11-9 Opening schedule is reminiscent of last year's which they went 10-10 without Harden. Harden wasn't really there even for the 7 games he was. What we do want to avoid is: https://bbs.clutchfans.net/threads/...nders-the-next-20-games.310174/#post-13398525
Pretty accurate, but Detroit is beating them and Minnesota too. And beat the Warriors? Really? HHAHAHA
Brutal schedule out of the gate...7 - 13. This is when these guys are healthy, and without trades.....I expect the second half of the year to be very ugly.
Plow, Plow, Plow. Maybe they’ll win 20 or maybe they’ll lose 20 but I’ll go into each game anticipating the W.
Hoping for 0-20 for the greater good. No team successfully rebuilds in one year. The only way we can win with our cheap owner is a bunch of guys on rookie contracts.
