I think everything was a great investment over the last 12-18 months. lol. Crypto, comic books, stocks, old cars, sports memorabilia, minerals/crystals, etc. They all went up in price. It's also easier to "store" a few hundred shares than a few dozen Chevys, though. Not to mention I trust the long-term price on the S&P 500 shares more than on a 2014 F-150. Just sayin' ...
watch bbig tomorrow morning for a potential short squeeze could happen as early as premarket. Not sure if it’ll be on the same leve as sprt but maybe 10 is possible. also have mmat and root on watch the next potential short squeeze play
Here’s a more expanded watchlist squeeze plays for the upcoming week Aher, aht, alt, any, ater, btbt, btcm, bbig, cemi, clsk, dlpn, mrin, rcon, sgoc, xela, sprt root, BBBY, amc, bynd, clov, clvs, coup, gevo, gme, riot, sdc, sens, siri, solo, sos, wkhs, sbet, mmat
APPS finally recovering. last 2 weeks have been depressing and don't want my heart broken again, but the volume looks legit. Hourly volume higher than the sell off on 10 Aug after earnings.
RBLX, anyone ? after ascending to the upper trading channel ~ 90, it has steadily declined---showing a double doji ~ 82, suggesting that trading action is consolidating there the options, w IV of 53%, are expensive constructed a LEAP calendar CALL spread bto Jan 2023 90 CALL, sto Nov 2011 90 CALL; net/net at a cost of $13.5 TAs suggest that RBLX will reach 100 before year-end 2021
any views on apps TA? after throwing more at it on the dip, it's prob 50% of my port now after adding in options. back in the green, was thinking of starting to take some off the table by selling ITM covered calls on some of the position or closing some short puts if it gets to the mid $60s. tbh this recovery is as mysterious to me as the dip, thought i would have to wait till next earnings after 8 straights days of red after earnings. there was news of inclusion into s&p mid cap 400 today, but actual rebalancing is only on 7 sep i think.
before this announcement this AM, Digital Turbine, Inc. ( NASDAQ:APPS ) is going to be added to the S&P MidCap 400 Index. TA for APPS was weak this announcement means more institutional buying, which has been the catalyst for the 9% pop today, on > 4 X normal volume. this has completely change the TA---breaking up thru the 20 dma---to a bullish chart. should it close above the 50 dma in the next few days, 62.47, it's off to the races, heading to the top of the trading channel, ~ 73. should this play out, then another ascend until the end of Sept. as many fund managers are required to buy S&P MidCap 400 Index stocks, if then don't currently own APPS, they must buy them in order to be included in the Sept Qtr-ending report
APP is up 5.8% today, trading at > 63, above the 50 dma. am willing to bet that it will close above 50 dma today. on that basis, and that APPS option contracts are expensive, w IV ~ 59%, sold this 5-pt bullish PUT spread, using 24 Sep expiration bto 60 PUT, sto 65 PUT, collecting a premium of $2.55, defining my max risk of $2.45
lots of tailwind / upward momentum yip, yesterday APPS closed at 63.35, above the 50 dma. currently trading ~ 64.29, the next technical hurdle to be cleared is the 200 dma, 65.7; if cleared within the next 2 trading days, APPS will be heading towards the upper trading channel, ~ 73-75 range
Looks like the funds did their rebalancing today 1min candle at 4pm had 7million volume. On tsla's inclusion i recall it ran up at the friday close, and then dipped next trading day, before going on another run. not sure what to expect. i closed my september expiry short puts before close for some peace of mind. (still very long shares, and short later dated puts)
@adoo PING looking good? i've never used their services, but it's in a good niche (cyber sec) and fundamentals look ok.
Traders heed this adage, “the longer the base, the higher the space” PING appears to be rising from a long base, w lots of vertical space to go. will add to my watch list for 5-pt bullish PUT credit spread
Rosecoe Arbuckle is publicizing his ignorance; it would take an ignorant fool to be confused / mixed up w “The bigger the base, the higher in space" vs. the Cup W Handle pattern Roscoe Arbuckle fits that like a glove My advise to Roscoe is to learn the difference between a base and a cup, and learn some more; and stop being an ignoranus (an ignorant fool and A Hole) for the education of the ignoranus Roscoe, the Cup w Handle pattern is a U-shaped cup followed by a consolidating period, the handle, on declining volume. as it relates to PING, there is a long base, but no U-shape cup nor a consolidation period on declining volume
Aehr Receives $19.4 Million Order for Multiple FOX-XP™ Test and Burn-in Systems from Major Automotive Semiconductor Supplier https://finance.yahoo.com/news/aehr-receives-19-4-million-113000079.html crazy. despite more than 3x in 2 months, cap is still only $220m. adding more. @Rodman23
it has retreated for 2 days; but support on the 50 dma appears shaky. closed my credit spread on APPS, for a small profit
