Any franchise that would trade a major package of picks for Watson in the fog of his current legal situation would have to be an absolute fool………….it’s a shame the Texans can not pull off a trade with themselves

I don’t think Caserio will make a fool of himself like O’Brien would have, but I hope the Texans don’t give Watson away. And we damn well better get Tua thrown in because our QB situation isn’t ideal at the moment.

Agreed. Would be nice to get tua and Howard. I think he asked for a trade during camp.

Might as well see if Tua can be the guy. I have doubts but at least he has shown potential.
Tua, Howard and a couple firsts would be ideal

Reports say we have no interest in Tua.

Tua as a throw in, plus 3 first and 2 seconds, nothing conditional, that's all i would take or wait, ideally we should be getting even more picks than that. if it blows up and deshaun goes to jail and every worst case scenario possible happens, then i'd rather wait and get nothing than trade him for a couple of firsts that end up being the last pick in the draft as i watch deshaun go win a super bowl with another team. id rather the texans leave houston than watch that garbage.

Dolphins' fans do not want this. They are losing their minds. I don't know if it happens.

Ok. Then just force him to play.

This is one final F.U. to the city of Houston from this piece of trash Watson. He's destroying his trade value by nixing these trade destinations... as the future draft picks from the Eagles are much more attractive than the future Dolphins' picks. Good riddance, massage boy.

The Texans gave him the power of a no-trade clause....

True, but when Watson publicly demanded a trade, a decent human being would have waived the no-trade clause to achieve being traded. Watson didn't honor the contract, so why should the Texans?

Watson wants to have his cake and eat it too... demanding a trade and leaving the Texans with a undervalued package back in return.

If it’s a **** package, force him to play and if he doesn’t, suspend without pay. This piece of crap doesn’t deserve anything, he can waste away without getting paid.

Yeah. Then he retires, comes back in a year and we get nothing.

Good thing that’s not how retiring works right

MIA fans leave stadiums early, don't show up for baseball, and are unwilling to trade Herro for Harden .. not the sharpest fan base.

Texans own his rights even if he retires.

I know the media narrative is they should trade him now for nothing because he may not have value due to possible incarceration… which is the biggest contradictory standpoint from a faction that simply wants Deshaun to be elsewhere.

If they don’t get max value for him now, keep him. Let his legal BS play out (doubtful his career will get as derailed as Mike Vick’s did), then trade him to a QB desperate team in a year. It’s not like there will be people questioning whether or not he’s forgotten how to play or is no longer in his prime from a physical/age standpoint.
