    Lawson was a swing and a miss, but at least Caserio didn’t let his ego get in the way of making the right decision on him. Unlike someone we all know would have....

    Mills seemed like a roll of the dice pick. Their thinking might've been that they have all their picks next year plus picks for Watson coming at some point so this 3rd rounder isn't make or break. And at the least he could be an okay backup. But I can see why that would frustrate people. There are tons of holes all over the roster and maybe that 3rd rounder could've filled one immediately.

    The Texans are just one of a number of teams considering trades before the 53-man cutdown on Tuesday. So here’s some of what we’re hearing on that front.

    • Houston’s willing to listen to offers for pretty much any of its veterans. Obviously, the rebuild there won’t happen overnight, and it makes sense for Caserio to start building up draft capital. And for as tough as the last year’s been in Houston, there are some proven players that’d be attractive to contenders on that roster.

    He’s raw for sure. You don’t give up on the physical traits that he has that easily. He might end up being too dumb to process.
    They didn’t give up when Watson threw a thousand picks.

    Really? Watson? What's next, Brady threw picks so you never know argument? Not trying to bash you or anything but c'mon, there's nothing Mills did that indicates he won't be on his 4th team in 5 years by 2026... I usually side with young players but not for this team.. This Patriot South regime don't develop **** but place kickers and depth for other teams...

    Mills has had some wow plays throwing on the run. He has physical gifts.
    I’m saying you don’t give up on that easily.
    And no I’m not comparing him to Watson, but every young QB throws a ton unless you’re Mahomes.
    Watson first 3 years were heavy turnovers, specially first year.
