Who do you find yourself agreeing with most of the time on PTI?

    I like Wilbon, personally.

    Tony Kornheiser... Always, always, always.

His voice is even featured on my answering machine! He recorded a personal greeting for me.

Tony is great. That's so cool about the phone greeting.

How did you get him to to do the greeting for you?

I actually had a "working relationship' with him when I was unemployed. I would contact him via e-mail pretty frequently about my desire to become a sports journalist.

    Very, very nice guy.

Why are some of you voting for Tony on this? :) You do know he called Yao a "stick figure" for several months before Yao played his first NBA game and constantly undermined him, whereas Wilbon was one Yao's biggest supporters from day one.

I'm a huge Tony fan and find him more entertaining than Wilbon, but as far as all-around sports-knowledge it's Wilbon by a long shot. A majority of the stuff Tony says is for shock/entertainment value. Wilbon takes sports anyalysis more seriously.

I usually agree with Wilbon, except when there's talks of the Cubs and Wilbon goes on and on about the Cubs over the Astros, to which I say screw him. I also don't like the fact that anytime college football is brought up, he brings up Northwestern at every opportunity he can get.

I agree with the fact that PTI is as good as television and/or sports commentary has ever been.

It's like getting a Seinfeld re-run at 4:30 in the midst of a 23.5-hour Steven Seagal marathon on TBS.

You know, I'm going to write something that may sound like a surprise to some of you coming from me. But I really don't like how Wilbon is always trying to make things a racial argument on the show. If you watch the show, you can really see he is always going to take up for the black athlete no matter what, he is always going to side with the black side in a racial issue, and he really isn't that objective.

I know that sounds surprising coming from me, and some of you guys may not think I have the right to say that about someone else in the media, given my history of posts on race relations. But do any of you get that vibe from Wilbon. seriously.

Kornheiser's alright. He's entertaining, but dumb as a brick when it comes to sports. I dig Wilbon though.

Are you being sarcastic? That's why I like Wilbon so much because I think he is the exact opposite from what you said. IMO he gives an honest take that's not racially slanted in anyway. But, maybe that's just me though?

I'm really not being sarcastic. Don't get me wrong, I appreciate them putting a black guy on the show, I don't think there are enough blacks in the sports media. But sometimes Wilbon goes overboard.

Case in point, I remember when Denzell Washington and Halle Berry won Oscars the same year. At the end of PTI the next day, Wilbon was like, "yeah finally some black actors win the Oscar for Best Actor and Best Actress", and he was pumping his fist. I just think he's over the top sometimes.

Halle's half white. Did you guys claim her in the "racial draft"? :D

It's a Chappelle reference for anybody claiming I'm some kind of bad person.
