Bruno Caboclo can play but not enough IQ on defense. Anthony Bennett I think is smarter on defense, can move laterally before injury, plus can shoot, rebound, has post up moves.
I would be down for signing him for cheap if he is healthy, I liked what I saw before he got injured.
I don’t get this guy at all. So much talent, there’s just ALWAYS something getting in the way. Maybe it’s him. At this point, you have to assume that maybe it’s not meant to be for him. He might have ONE last chance, but I doubt it.
I thought he could fit in really well with this team and system. His ball-handling and passing ability would have given us a Jeff Green type of player all season. I think Harden really likes having a front court play maker bc it makes his job a hell of a lot easier when a double team comes. House became the solution to Harden double teams bc he can make a quick read and execute the correct pass. Unfortunately House was the only player on the team that had experience making that play bc of MDA’s hatred of practice and the team was exposed when House was kicked out of the bubble. Idk if the Rockets would’ve beat the Lakers if House stayed in Orlando but it would’ve been a lot more competitive of a series with him. Hopefully the next coach will realize that we need more than one player who can make the play to help Harden out of the double team.
Bruno might be dumb as a rock but he has higher defensive IQ than AB, it's not even close. AB is much more polished offensive player but knock on him was always conditioning AND effort, especially on defense.
Athony Bennett had nasal surgery. Anthony got tired from lack of sleep. Since the surgery he is sleeping fine.
His basketball story is still being written but it is looking like a very sad ending. Just from one extreme spiraling down to the other.
PJ Tucker bounced around overseas for 6 years and was Israeli Premier League league MVP (same league as ABs team) before finally landing a contract with the Phoenix Suns. You just never know. I wish him well
