Yah it’s sugarland. Sweetwater is one of the neighborhoods that has a lot of million dollar homes. There is a country club out there, golf course, lots of gated mini Estates.

I would imagine if I made max salary in the nba I would live there as well.
I think Horry and Shaq also have homes in sugarland.

where exactly is sugar land? I don’t really know the neighborhoods outside the loop. Is that what’s on the other side of Bellaire?

That's a lot of house. I bet the AC bill, alone, is not worth it.

Last time I was in LA, Highland Park had some decent stuff in the 700-900 range.

By decent I mean a 1100 SF house on a 6k SF lot.

    Southwest Houston
Off 59 once you pass 90 going south or after 99 going north. Stretches down Highway 6 till you hit Mo City.
Pretty much all upper middle class, but there is some middle and lower middle class neighborhoods.
I worked at the Chilis in Sugarland in HS and college summers.

I don't know if it's Missouri City or Sugarland but the YMCA right off Hwy 6 close to Dulles Ave/First Colony Blvd used to get Shaq and a bunch of other big names in the summer. Shaq had a house over there. Larry Smith lived just a few blocks away. Hooped a lot growing up with Maser P's brother there, Silk the Shocker lol. I love telling people the most random experience in my life, Silk the Shocker came over for mother's day because his family was out of town. Terrible hooper for his size and athleticism, but a great pool player.

I had a close family friend that lived a few doors down that we frequently visited. One day my buddy and I were on a walk in the neighborhood and he came over and started harassing us, asking obnoxious questions and threatened to call the police. First and only time he did that but it was a lasting image for me.

Dang. Guess players aren't always as cool as they are on the field.

Barkley used to live in Point Royal in New Territory, Sugarland. I think either Elie or Maxwell did too.
