My worst fear is that Jalen Green will be more distracted by life outside of basketball

The cracks in the sofa are harsh and unforgiving, much like how I'll be if Jalen be reaching for cracks at the strip joints.

 

Apparently if your job is to play basketball, it's the only thing you are allowed to do lol.

The word coming outta Rockets camp post-Harden was something to the extent of not wanting another party boi superstar. I sincerely doubt they went from that to drafting another party boi within 6 months.

Also idgaf what they do outside of work. As long as it doesn’t affect work. Don’t care that Harden likes strippers. Don’t care what Jalen Green does with his free time and money. Just want to watch basketball.

 

So just shut up, don't live a life outside of basketball, and dribble, huh. What he does outside of basketball is really none of your business, and it's not something you should be afraid of. Direct that energy in a more positive direction. I don't believe he's made it this far for him to no longer focus on getting better. He said he's going for rookie fo the year. That means he has to be focused. Bet on that (not on fear), live in the moment, and not what you're afraid of what could happen to someone else in the future. You can't control him, just like he can't control who his fans are and how he'll be judged by every little thing he does (on and off the court).

He's already been put through that test, IMO. He could've easily drifted away from his workout routines while in HS. He already had a huge following on social media and YouTube. This isn't new territory for him.

 

My own personal opinion... The people agreeing with this thought probably didn't play sports and are semi- holier than thou... Just my opinion!..

 

Uhhhh... what about health? The kid entered the Gleague instead of pulling a$$ for four years in college. Looks like dedication to me. What do you think?

With Wall playing point he needs to get use to that.

 

I hope to God he turns out like HOF Harden. Dude was king of the strip club at night and turned around and put up career games for anybody else like it was another night at the office. We should be so lucky for lightning to strike like that again. I would love for KPJ and Green to come out and establish for the next 10 years that they are the best guard tandem in the NBA. There is a long way to go there and they have to put the work in.

 

Someone should probably go check on OP and see how he's doing after this!

 

My next international trip awaits....
