For some reason I have been limited to Calvin Klein stuff. I was a CK Be man for a long time and now I have broadened my horizons to CK One. I like stuff that smells more fresh than all musky-y. Speaking of that, I am most commited to the Speed Stick Fresh Scent Deoderant...I have stocked up since they don't sell it where I live. I am fantatical about it (sadly).

I use ACQUA DI Gio by Giorgio Armani. there are two types, one for winter and fall, and one for summer and spring. They don't smell too strong, and they are not that expensive. They're in the 50 to 60 dollar range.

Armani Emporium (sp?) and Polo BLUE are very good colognes.

A side note before I start on colognes. Deodorants can get in the way of your scent. Often deodorants are too heavy and overbearing with their scent so I go with Unscented deodorant, and then I add some AXE body spray (go with an AXE that is light and not colognish) The AXE should not be too heavy and can only be smelled if someone gets real close to the skin on your body. After spraying the AXE on your body, I go with the cologne on the torso of whatever shirt I'm wearing (1 spray about 10 inches away). Then I spray one spray on my left wrist and then put that wrist against my right wrist and then wipe the wrists on my neck. I think this is important because your hands outstretch the cologne scent to people, plus you want the scent on your neck and on your torso. Try it and see what you think. Spraying the scent into the air might work, but i think it's more of a waste of cologne.

I had Polo Sport in middle school and high school. I added Armani Emporium (sp?) and recently I added my favorite, Polo Blue. I don't use Polo Sport much anymore because I find it tacky and unoriginal. The Armani though is a very nice, sweet scent that is not very colognish but more for casual occasions i think. It's light and not overbearing and I've gotten many compliments on it.
But this Polo Blue... man, I really love this stuff. I just got it a couple weeks ago and it's AWESOME. I haven't read about any other posters having it, but I must recommend that the next time you pass the cologne area in the foleys or something, try this out because it's the best cologne I've smelled. It has a sweet scent to it like Armani but is colognish for nice occasions. It could be that I really like it because its a new scent of mine, but I didn't have such feelings about the Armani when i first got it. So anyways, TRY Polo Blue.... my girlfriend liked Armani Emporium a lot but thinks Polo Blue is even better. It's the best cologne I've ever smelled.

    Dunhill Desire is great

    212 - I don't know who makes it

    Issae Miyake is also good

    Photo Lagerfeld

    Davidoff Cool Water

It's funny how you would ask these questions and how everything is different here... You'd be considered a stanky guy if you didn't wear perfume here, but it's pretty normal in your culture, right?
