It may. But those guards have to learn how to guard wings. Might as well start now. And if the team is bad....another lottery pick. Part of the process.
Wasn't impressed with Weaver in the SL I view Lucas as a dad figure and counselor not a coach Jeff hornichek nope sucks Diop lol Silas offense is to predictable and no effort to teach d whatsoever I'm in the minority but they should clean house after our rebuild is over But i digress
And if any of u believe a lineup of wall kp and green is actually what the coaches really want despite what they say in public... Then I got a bridge to sell you In other words wall does not want to be benched and we can't trade him or buy out So we're going to roll with the three midget lineup as our starters Oh wait.. I forgot 6'4 tate is going to be our power forward So we're rolling with four midgets in our starting lineup amazing last year we played small ball and we're very undersized and despite having a nice draft we actually got smaller
I'm not fond of our plays from this coaching staff so I guess we will just suck this season again but not too much I guess
Yeah defense is going to be atrocious haha. I expect there to be a ton of 123-116 type of games this season. Might get worse as the season goes along if/when Wood is traded.
I hope it was just his polite answer to the question. Anyway, I'm more than Ok with trying everything, but then react to what is working and what is not. That trio cant work defensively (neither offensively) and I guess they already know it. But, if they wanna try it with a zone next to 2 bigs or whatever, ok, try it and see.
which offenses aren't predictable? I feel lke the way the nba is moving that there is no one reinventing anything its just more about getting your star to their spots andgiving them the right space and it seems to he moving more towards showcasing the stars than ever. I'm fine with silas, the players respond to thim and in this nba the authority stuff is dying out and its about being able to level communicate and reach them, he can do that. but you are going to be right, not many coaches survive rebuilding even if silas was dealt a bad hand. but in any case i hope we get us some specialist, more coaches, more staff, more infrastrcuture so we let these young pups develop and creat an OKC enviornment when the big 3 were there that they just all created a culture of working on our game
I'm going to agree with you about Lucas. he's been around long enough that we know who he is and what he brings. he's a life coach more than a basketball coach. great to have around, behind the bench. hornacek had his chance as a head coach and wasn't remarkable at either end. the idea that he's all of a sudden a defensive coach would be hilarious if he wasn't on my team. diop, again maybe second row, not on the bench. I'm going to give weaver an incomplete. can't really tell my SL, the roster was flawed (no PG) and everyone was just trying to get theirs instead of playing as a team. Also going to give Silas an incomplete after what he went through last season, nba record 30 players on the roster, lets see what he can do when the guys he has in training camp are the guys he has through the season too. however we know his reputation is as an offensive coach and that we would need a defensive coach to pair with him. side note I would love to bring in Lionel Hollins if he can't reach an extension with the lakers. great defensive coach. morey tried to bring him in as head coach and associate HC on a couple of occasions.
