I haven't seen Bill on any of the recent telecasts.. What happened to him? He used to always do the Lakers games? Has anyone heard anything?

He works for ESPN, and the Western Conference finals is on TNT.

With only the ecf and wcf left then the finals the networks have exclusive rights to the series. espn got screwed with the ecf, abc with the finals and tnt gets the wcf as it has so advertised from day 1 on the season. so doing so each network puts its so called 'A' broadcasting team for the games for tnt its marv, mike and doug and for espn it seems that its doc rivers and brad nessler i think abc will go will al micheals doc rivers and possibly bill walton so there you go

i am just happy i dont have to hear tom tolbert anymore

I would've enjoyed listening to Walton talk about his son. Oh well.

I have no sympathy for ESPN. They can continue to bring us exciting programming like the Norweigian Bass Fishing Championships and poker games where you can't see player's hole cards.

He's probably in the Lakers locker room, lubing Kobe up.

Either way, it makes watching a lot easier for me.
