If he were 6'6" he'd be a lock on the roster. As a Coog I hope he makes it here. It's going to be tough to find minutes. Maybe a trade clears up some minutes.

We need to sign this guy. When he’s got his confidence up - he can be ray Allen. He’s got a Kobe style shot with Dame range.

Basically. I wanted him since last year. Watch any long form interview he is in, he has the right mentality. He doesn't give generic answers and is focused on the right things. He has the right mindset and work ethic. His 3 point shooting WONT be a fluke.

Trade House for a 2nd into a TPE or for some instant waive player, then sign Brooks to a Hinkie special

I like that idea but apparently Silas loves House (why I have no clue)

Silas loves Wall too. and he requested the trade for Oladipo. He shouldn't influence any personnel decisions.

Also we need to lock up Armoni Brooks with the quickness. He was deadly from deep for us toward the end of last season. His defense got better too.

Wall is a different situation as he's untradeable without attaching assets. House has been working with Lucas all offseason.

Trustme, I want Brooks on this team and will be pissed if we lose him

you got me. how'd you know?

he can't play... yet. give him time and reps and see what happens. one thing is for sure, augustine, house, nwaba, gordon, wall, and thies don't have a future with the rockets and they are more mentors than 1 team needs. at least 2 of them will be taking up minutes and roster spots we could use on lamb or anyone else. doesn't have to be lamb. could be the nba's best training camp cut since the rockets have the top waiver spot. could be someone who shows promise in the GL. point is use the roster spots for players on upward trajectories rather than downward trajectories.

About the same as far as spot up threes I guess, but I'd take QQQ shooting a pull up J any day.

Brooks can basically only shoot spot up threes, sometimes hit the boards....QQQ has the pull up J, plays good D, can handle the ball a little bit, finish, hit the boards..

    That's not right.

A two way contract accrues days that equal the NBA rookie minimum.

A player who spends the max 45 days with the NBA team earns about $280k

I suspect that the Rockets would love to sign Brooks, but there is competition for his services. He is waiting to see if he can get a legit 2 or 3 year contract. With all the young guards the Rockets have to develop, I don’t think they are willing to tie up the roster spot with that kind of deal. I hope they can get him on a 2 way, but I am not optimistic.

He is so hot and cold - if he could just be a bit more consistent he can be super helpful.
